Welcome to Carly Ariel!

This blog is a labor of love and something that I have been dying to share with you for quite some time. I hope that you find it inspiring, entertaining, and perhaps educational at times! My goal is to connect with as many women as possible in a fun and inviting way, sharing my thoughts and tips on everything from fashion to furniture, from beauty to books, and from fitness to food. Basically my blog will have a little bit of everything, because we’re all made up of these wonderful things on a daily basis!

A little bit about me: my name is Carly. My middle name is Ariel (not pronounced like the mermaid! The first syllable is more “are” than “air”…does that make sense?). I’m originally from Connecticut but currently I call Southern California my home, along with my fiancé and our fur babies: we have 2 cats and a dog. I’ve always wanted to have my own little corner of the internet where I can create content to share with others.

Here’s what you can expect from this blog: it definitely won’t be perfection from the beginning. When starting a blog, the number one piece of advice you hear is, “Don’t wait until it’s perfect to start, otherwise you’ll never start”. That is SO TRUE. I’ve gone back and forth on layout, themes, colors, host sites, you name it, for months. And here I am, finally committing to giving it a shot and see where the future takes us!

I’m going to try my best to post at least twice a week, if not three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’ll also be starting a YouTube channel where you can expect (gulp) two new videos every week, posted on Tuesday and Thursday. So, if everything goes well, that’s new content from me every day of the work week! How fun!
